Little Wood Reservoir

LITTLE WOOD RESERVOIR

Situated about 10 miles north of Carey, Idaho in the foothill shrublands/grasslands ecological region of Blaine County. Boating and fishing are the major recreation activities at 600-acre impoundment formed by Little Wood Dam.There are great views of the surrounding Pioneer Mountains while paddling away near the 9 miles of shoreline. Rainbow, cutthroat, brook trout, and brown trout are all stocked in the water. Restrooms, boat ramps, campground, parking, picnic tables, and swimming are available.
