city park

Residents and visitors alike are served by the City's outstanding park system.  The City of Carey currently owns and maintains two parks covering over 4.5 acres of parkland.  These community parks offer play equipment, sports facilities and open area for a wide range of activities.

Maintenance of parks, landscape right of ways, and city building grounds is overseen by the Carey Public Works Department. For problems, concerns, or information contact the Public Works Department at publicworks@cityofcarey.org.

The Future

As of 2026, it will be 40 years since the first Carey park was established. In the succeeding years the city has added a 2nd park and over 4.5 acres of parkland. Parks have become a place where residents gather to relax, play, and celebrate. Everyone has a park memory. As Carey continues to grow, the City desires to maintain and build new parks so that future generations can enjoy and make memories in these parks.
